“Darshans on Ganesh Chaturthi !!”
Temple is just few mins from Dadar railway station, taxi take Rs 10/per head from dadar !! the day was Ganesh Chaturthi and we expected a bulk crowd, So we took Rs 50 special ticket and we inquired ticket distributor about crowd and he replied that he has not seen such a small crowd on chaturthi in his life and after that our happiness was limitless
Just in few mins we did darshans and darshans was very beautiful, Lord Vinayaka was breathtaking and such a speacial darshans on chaturthi is always worth
2. Mumba Devi
“Goddress of Mumbai !!”
The temple is located in the kalbadevi area.We reached there by taxi.
There were very little crowd, we saw evening aarti of mumba devi, it was very awesome experience.The darshan of the goddess was very nice.We loved to visit there.there were also some other temples in the complex.
we reached Mumba devi after siddhivinayak and taxi meter charged Rs 128
Mumba devi is one of the oldest temple of mumbai.Mumbai is named after mumba devi.
The nearest railway station is Masjid railway station, we took local to dadar from here, but mumbai local are worst experience for delhians who are used to metro !! Never travel in local if you are in group or if you have senior citizens with your group ! their frequency is too high but stoppage is few seconds, also there is no boards indicating first class or ladies compatment in train and if you step up by mistake in them in TTE would charge a penalty from you
